9th Grade Sample Schedule - Band Option 1 (Honors Jazz Ensemble):
In a regular 9th grade year, students will take 6 classes (in no particular order):
1. English
2. Math
3. Science
4. Elective (Band 3 (HP) - Honors Jazz Ensemble)
5. Physical Education
6. Contemporary Health
9th Grade Sample Schedule - Band Option 2 (Honors Jazz Ensemble):
At Emerald High School, some zero period classes are open to allow us to build our programs. This will allow students to take an extra elective, so students can take 7 classes (in no particular order). Zero period is NOT a guaranteed period.
0. Zero Period
1. English
2. Math
3. Science
4. Language other than English OR Other Elective
5. Elective (Band 3 (HP) - Honors Jazz Ensemble)
6. Contemporary Health
9th Grade Sample Schedule - Band Option (Only For Band 1 - Concert Band, Band 2 - Symphonic Band, and Honors Band 3 (HP) - Honors Wind Ensemble):
In a regular 9th grade year, students can take 7 classes (in no particular order). But please note that a zero period class is not guaranteed, however, 7th period IS guaranteed if you sign up for it.

6. Contemporary Health
7. Band [Band 1, 2, and 3 are offered 7th period. Mr. Tran is flexible with school sports conflicts.]
