9th Grade Sample Schedule - Band Option 1 (For Band 1 and Band 2):
In a regular 9th grade year, students will take 6 classes (in no particular order): 

1. English

2. Math

3. Science

4. Elective (Band 1 or Band 2)

5. Physical Education

6. Contemporary Health

9th Grade Sample Schedule - Band Option 2 (For Band 1 and Band 2):

At Emerald High School, we are offering zero period PE to band, orchestra, and leadership students to allow us to build our programs. This will allow students to take an extra elective, so students can take 7 classes (in no particular order):

0. Zero Period PE
1. English

2. Math

3. Science

4. Language other than English OR Other Elective

5. Elective (Band 1 or Band 2)

6. Contemporary Health

9th Grade Sample Schedule - Band Option (Only For Honors Band 3):
In a regular 9th grade year, students can take 8 classes (in no particular order):

0. Zero Period Class
1. English

2. Math

3. Science

4. Language other than English OR Other Elective

5. Physical Education

6. Contemporary Health

7. Band 3 [Band 3 is the ONLY 7th period class. Mr. Tran is flexible with school sports conflicts.]
