Dear Families and Supporters of the Emerald HS Music Department,
We are in need of a number of items but wanted to bring your attention to two vehicles to add to our transportation fleet:
Emerald HS is in immediate need of a 53 ft. Semi Trailer (also known as a dry van) to store our equipment and transport everything from competitions and events. As you may have known, I am usually the truck driver that transports equipment to and from locations. As our program grows, this is not something I can not continue as my main responsibility should be directed towards teaching our students. Financially, I believe this would be a better investment for our long-term operations. This will be heavily used during the Fall marching band season and the Winter percussion season.
If you know a person, compony, corporation, etc. that would be willing to donate a 53 ft. Semi Trailer to our music department, please let me know immediately. Driving this requires a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). If you are in possession of this license type and would like to volunteer to drive, please let me know. If we do not find a donor, I will propose a Capital Project to the music boosters.
The second need is a 24 ft. V-Noose Cargo Trailer. This will be used to store and transport equipment as well. This does not require a special license, so anyone with a vehicle that has a hitch and meets the requirement to haul the trailer can drive it. If you know a person, compony, corporation, etc. that would be willing to donate a 24 ft. V-Noose Cargo Trailer to our music department, please let me know immediately. This will be heavily used during the Fall marching band season and the Winter guard season. If we do not find a donor, I will propose a Capital Project to the music boosters.

What Instruments?
EHS is currently in need of French horns, baritone/euphoniums, trombones, tubas, percussion, cellos, and basses.
We also gladly accept flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, violin, viola, harp, guitar, and electric pianos.
We accept donations all year.

Process for Company Match Donations
1. Inquire within your own company if they participate in Company Matching Donations. Different companies have different programs and processes.
2. Your companies' match program should either list "Dublin Unified School District" or "Emerald High School ASB." Please ensure that these entity names are exact. A donation that goes to the wrong entity can not be withdrawn. We can provide you with the Tax-ID, but can not post it here for the public.
3. Please inform Mr. Tran about your process. He does not get automatic notifications regarding each match donation. He must do this manually on his own time. If Mr. Tran does not expect a company match donation, then he will not be able to look for it. Email Mr. Tran at tranjasper@dublinusd.org
4. Complete your match donation AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE. Match donations may take MONTHS to be dispersed. Be sure to always make a note of:
"Emerald High School Music Department - Student First and Last Name"
