Welcome to the Emerald High School Music Department website! Emerald High School is Dublin Unified's second comprehensive high school which opened in August 2024. Visit KTVU and CBS to see their coverage of the new physical campus.
Under the direction of Mr. Jasper Tran, Emerald HS has travelled to Hawaii and have had multiple tours to Southern California. The music department has received numerous awards and invitations. The Honors Chamber Orchestra has been invited to the 2026 ASTA National Orchestra Festival, and the band and orchestra will travel to New York to perform in Carnegie Hall for the 2026 National Band and Orchestra Festival. All groups will have the opportunity to participate in our annual Southern California Tour and our end of the year trip to a local theme park.

Mr. Tran is the music director for Emerald High School! He was previously the music director for Cottonwood Creek School from August 2018 - June 2023 and transferred to Emerald HS when it opened in August 2023. Please visit the staff page to learn more about Mr. Tran and our staff.
